A:AnswerThere's a metal grill the attaches to the back of the stove to fill the gap, but in our kitchen, the gas shutoff valve sticks out higher than the indentation on the back of the stove that is intended to allow the stove to fit tighter to the wall. I think the building standards for the positioning of the gas cock might have changed over time. Our condo was built 40 years ago and codes have changed.
A:AnswerHello. I do not see a anything on the nobs that actually indicate child safety, however u have to push in and turn to the left to ignite. U can always take the knobs off as well. Good luck. Still learning features but a great stove.
