Under Temperature Control & Defrosting on page 13 in your owner's manual for the LG 5.8 cu. ft. Single Door Freezer, Model # LROFC0605V it states "To defrost the freezer, turn the temperature control dial to the OFF (O) setting. Make sure that the drip tray is properly installed so water will collect in the tray. Once a month, unplug the power cord and allow the entire freezer to defrost. For faster defrosting, place 1 or 2 pans filled with warm water inside the freezer. Remove and empty the drip tray, dry it off, and reassemble it. Under Product Features on page 10 of your owner's manual is an illustrated diagram that shows where the drip tray is located under the glass shelf in the refrigerator.
