“per the Specs on this item it says Defrost type is AUTOMATIC so that would mean its frost free wouldn't it and requires a water line? Manual would mean manual yet you answer all questions that this is not automatic. Please confirm as i am shopping.”

• I bought this freezer because the Specs says Defrost type is Automatic which would mean Frost Free. I am totally disappointed; I have had to defrost the freezer every 1 - 2 months; I was thinking and aruging with my family, telling them to make sure the door is closed! Well, it was not the door nor their fault! It is false and incorrect advertising! Do Not Buy! It is so inconvenient and a lot of work to manually defrost tis freezer! Would Not Recommend! I wish I had known this before purchase and when I could have returned it!

• This unit has an automatic defrost cycle. It does not require a waterline. ^Daphane
