Yes, you use the four screws in the back. They only have screws in to protect the threads.

Please try again later.The screws in the back of the LG - 50" Class (49.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black, Model # 55UH5530 are not for holding the back panel. Those are the screw holes for a Wall Mount Bracket. You might be able to use those screws for a Wall Mount if it is not too thick. The metric size for the diameter of the screws you need for Wall Mounting that will fit into those holes is M6 (i.e. 6 mm diameter). The length for the screws is given as L "XX" where "XX" is a number that lets you know what length (e.g L14). Typically, VESA Compliant Wall Mounts come with the right screws included that will have the right length for the thickness of the Wall Mount and if it is too long, they also include spacers...^IFV
