I have used VideoSecu and Cheetah mounts with 43" and 49" TVs. I am currently using VideoSecu MW380B2 with this LG TV and I have the TV tilted at almost a 90 degree angle from the wall it is mounted at.

They are designed to fit behind your TV so that they do not protrude from the bottom or the sides and are compliant with the VESA Standard which ensures that they will fit. Some will say that they fit a certain range of TV screen sizes (e.g, Fits most 51" - 80" TVs up to 125 lbs.) To ensure that the Wall Mount fits your TV, Both the TV and the Wall Mount must be compliant with the VESA Standard and will have an A x B VESA Wall Mount Pattern (e.g. 300 x 300 ) that lets you know that the wall mount will fit your TV if it has the same wall mount patter. The LG - 50" Class (49.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black, Model # 50UH5530 has a VESA Wall Mount Pattern of 300 x 200 (mm) so any VESA compliant Wall Mount with that pattern is guaranteed to fit the TV. If it doesn't fit, then it is either too big a Wall Mount for the TV screen size and it is not VESA compliant...^IFV
