Is this Directv compatible or will I need genie box? null

I have direct tv just hook my HDMI cord in and works fine

It should be. When I was setting my mothers up it asked if I was connecting a satellite. My mom has cable so I didn't go through it but it should work fine.

It's compatible with any program company

It has its own "smart" device. Just needs internet.
