• No that was back in the 90's you don't really want a tv combo they break down very quickly. I do recommend blueray it's more clear and better on a 4K tv that's if u can't get the blueray 4K

• You need an external player to connect to watch DVD movies. You can buy a DVD/BluRay player for around $50 or a 4K player for twice that if you want to take advantage of the 4K resolution. You have to buy 4K movies for true 4K.
