“Does anyone know if this TV has a VA display panel or an IPS display panel? Nobody that works at best buy seems to know. Can not find this TV anywhere on the LG website.”

• This TV has a VA panel not IPS. LG has this tossed in the middle of the new UK6500 range which are IPS with WCG (Wide color gamut). I you look at a 55" version I believe that is the IPS version..

• Yes, this Tv has a VA panel. Thats why viewing angle is really poor.

• This set it not an IPS panel. Off axis viewing is not very good.

• It has a H/V 178 degree viewing angle which is still great for wide angle viewing. But I thought all 2018 LG 4K TV's came with IPS panels. But anyway Best buy has clearly stated under the TV's description that it has a IPS panel for wide viewing angles, So if this is not true then it's false advertisement on the part of Best buy.
