A:Answer This is probably not the fault of the TV. In my experience the culprit is probably a streamer stick. If you have more than one on a TV, sometimes one of them gets "greedy" and switches the TV without any help from you. I have good experience with Roku. Directv on the other hand, sometimes jumps in without any warning and makes the TV switch to its HDM!.
I certainly do not have exhaustive knowledge on every TV. This said, I don't think any tv will do what you want. When you shut a TV down, it remembers which HDMI channel is being used, and automatically changes to that HDMI channel when you power it up. This is logical, since so many of us NEVER watch over-the-air TV, and the TV will not change the HDMI setting until you tell it to do so.
