As some one else answered definitely check the HDMI cables. The pins inside each HDMI connection are very tiny and slim. If one Is bent just a little it will not work. If the HDMI cable is the problem, that is an easy fix. You do not need to buy the real expensive cables. The ones I use are very inexpensive and in fairness to Best Buy they sell there own brand. Also check to see if the TV is HDCP 2.2, if it is you will need and HDMI HDCP 2.2 cable. HDCP 2.2 is a new Copyright Protection being used. If you want the best quality, picture and sound HDCP 2.2 is the way to go, if your TV is HDCP 2.2 capable you will matching HDCP2.2 in every device you want to connect for your viewing or home theater. If you are not sure about your TV contact LG and they can tell you if your TV is 2.2 compliant or not. Good luck. Joe
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm unsure why the sound didnt work. It worked fine through both my Hopper and Joey recievers, as well as my Roku. Are you hooking the product up through HDMI? If so, maybe try replacing the HDMI cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When encountering a situation where there is no sound after hooking up a Dish receiver box to an LG 50UQ7570PUJ TV, several troubleshooting steps can be taken to address the issue. To troubleshoot audio issues with your TV, follow these simple steps: 1. Check Audio Connections: Make sure the audio wire is securely connected to both the TV's Audio-Out port and the sound device's Audio-In port. 2. Sound Settings: Ensure that the TV is not muted and the volume level is above 10. If using an external sound device, confirm it is set to the correct input. 3. Picture/Sound Sync Control: Adjust the Picture/Sound Sync Control function in the Sound menu, if available, to resolve audio and video sync issues. This varies depending on your TV model. 4. Perform Sound Test: Conduct a sound test to evaluate the audio condition. If there are any abnormalities, seek further assistance. 5. Check External Device Cables: If the TV is producing unusual sounds, disconnect all external device cables to identify the source of the issue. 6. Consider Room Acoustics: In very large rooms, the TV speakers alone may not be powerful enough. Consider using a Home Theater, Sound Plate, or Soundbar for a better audio solution. By following these steps, you can troubleshoot and improve audio performance on your TV.
