Hi Cstar. The length of the flexible exhaust vent hose for the LG 500 Sq. Ft. 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1417GSR or for any other Portable Air Conditioner for that matter, is specially designed to the product's specifications and it cannot be lengthened, modified or replaced with your own longer hose as that would cause the unit to malfunction...^IFV
