“How stable/secure is this TV on its' 2 small legs supporting it? I'm concerned that one of my cats might jump up on the TV stand this model would sit on and knock it over.”

I don't think a cat can knock it over the legs are very sturdy

It's very stable stand. I am using it for sometime now without any issues.

I don't think that's a legitimate concern at all. I mean I think as long as your "cat" is not a full grown mountain lion the manufacturer has probably addressed this concern in their design.

I have two cats and no issues, it's pretty stable

It's surprisingly stable. The legs form a fairly wide base - about 9 1/2". We have 2 young (about a year old) cats and they tear around the house. The TV has not been affected by their running and jumping even though it's near their cat tree.
