The screen for the LG B9 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55B9PUA is glossy (it is glass) but it diminishes reflections by preventing them from scattering across the screen. You may notice a purple tint that is due to the anti-reflective coating found on some high-end TVs...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not matte, but when turned on it does a good job of reducing glare, not sure how but it does. Previously I had a Plasma that had a completely shiny screen and reflections were more obvious. I do think a matte screen would be better for reflections however the current screen allows for excellent off-center viewing and I'm thinking that a matte finish might inhibit that somehow. If angled viewing is important (it is for me), this screen is the best available.
