“How well would this do with older 480 input? For example I like to watch old movies from over the air TV. I'd be more interested in something similar to my current plasma images. I've tried an LED model looked awful. The movies looked good on CRT.”

See my review about adjusting the picture... its not fast or easy and requires patience and waiting for the computerized parts to stabilize but I have watched Old B&W and Old color (Ben Hur, the Robe) and they looked INCREDIBLE!!!! UP-CONVERSION on this is VERY GOOD! BUT this was after I got the picture adjusted for just regular TV watching first. If you get the picture set well for regular watching I think you will be impressed. I had a Panasonic Plasma before this one and wish it had not died, but this is second to it.
