The Automatic Brightness Limiter (ABL) in the LG CX 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55CXPUA significantly dims the screen when large areas get bright, and there's quite a bit of variation when displaying different content, and it gets the least bright with large areas. The Peak Brightness setting in the TV changes the way the ABL performs. The Peak Brightness setting can be turned off. Turning this setting to 'High', makes most scenes brighter, but large areas are less bright...^IFV
