Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2.4 and 5 ghz AC, I don't think you will see wifi 6 (AX) till 2021. You may want to wait till the 6e standard is out. Right now very few routers have 160mhz band, and there are channel limitations (2 I believe with just 6). 6e AX is supposed to offer more channels. Think of channels like lanes on a highway, the more lanes when there is traffic you can switch to another, same premise with WiFi channels. Oh the other issue with WiFi 6 it shares the same band as airport radar, so if you live 10-20 miles within a major airport it won't work for current 160mhz band ( you will on my get 80mhz channels, Google it for more info). The router scans the 160mhz channel 1st to see if it is being used (airport). Keep in mind WiFi 6 AX has less coverage range than 2.4 & 5 AC. The AX benefit in theory providing less interference by giving access to those channels in the 160mhz (there is some more technical stuff bas well ). Right now it is an immature standard and you need cliens with WiFi 6 AX cards as well. I would wait if you're fixed on having AX. I would definitely wait and see what shakes out with the 6e standard as that is what you will want (more AX channels). Your looking at 2 gens of TV till that happens I bet, as most experts think 6e won't start to show till late 2021 or 2022 in main stream devices.
