• it does not support the full 48 Gbps of HDMI 2.1, it only supports 40 Gbps. However, there is nothing on the market that uses that bandwith. You would need to have a panel that supports 12 bit color, and no panel has 12 bit color. This panel is a 10 bit panel and 40Gbps is perfect for the panel. So, it supports HDMI 2.1 up to the capabilities of the panel. It supports all other features of the HDMI 2.1 spec. It supports 4K 120 hz on full 10 bit color. It is future proof for the next generation of consoles. It supports Freesync and GSync.
