The LG 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # 55UH6150, like most TVs if not all, will require calibration for you to get the best picture. Within the menu under Picture (Picture > Picture Mode Settings > Picture Options) are many tools at your disposal that you can use to clear the picture up. The 'Noise Reduction' feature removes small dots that stand out so as to make the image clear. Keep in mind that your cables, your video source from your content provider will also factor into the quality of the image that you are getting. TV Broadcasts will only give you 1080i or 720p resolution at most and your TV has a native resolution of 2160p and it will always upscale content to play it at its' native resolution. Depending on how compressed that signal is from your content provider, it may come out grainy when your TV upscales it to a higher resolution. Calibrations are done for each room that your TVs are installed in and will require different calibrations for each room since no two rooms are alike. The inputs are also optimized to give the best picture possible according to the device that is plugged into a specific input. try playing a Blu-ray DVD and you should see the difference in picture quality between that and what you are getting from TV Broadcasts.
