Get the LG you will love it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm also looking at these two very closely as they're similar in price and specs. From what I can tell the largest difference between the Sony X800 and the LG J7700 is the Sony integrates with Amazon Alexa, allowing for voice control. The LG has Smart TV functions via WebOS and a motion sensing remote. If you have an Echo and prefer controlling things via voice, seems paying the $50 more for the Sony is the way to go. If not, the LG might be a better choice is its interface in my opinion looks better and is more responsiv.e As for durability I don't have experience with LG but Sony TVs tend to be extremely durable. However, the LG is 5 lbs lighter which lessens the chance of it being dropped. The LG also uses slightly less power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have a Sony but I have an LG 55 for over 1 1/12 year has great picture and sound better than most TV, love the laser , I have done a lot of research found the LG has better picture and sound not saying you cannot enhanced by a sound bar , Just keep in mind all TV's would have a problem but pick the one has the least reported problem and the more reliable than others, I found the LG 55 has the least. Good luck
