If you bought your HDMI cables after 2009, your 4K content should reach the LG 55 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55UM6910PUC. If you want your HDMI cables to support 4K resolution, you need to make sure that they are High-Speed HDMI cables. They are tested to transmit video resolutions from 1080p to 4K with a richer color palette. With or without HDR, you need High-Speed HDMI cables. There is a Premium certification as well, but it is completely optional...^IFV

This TV has a optimal operating temperature of 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F) and an optimal operating humidity of less than 80%. Not sure what the temperature and humidity are in your covered patio, or how free from dust it is, however, the warranty does not cover for any malfunctions resulting from using the TV in your outdoor covered patio so using it in that environment is discretionary on you...^IFV

When that review states that HBO is not supported on the LG 55 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55UM6910PUC, it does not mean that you cannot stream HBO from other devices connected to the TV or other preloaded apps in the TV. It means that the HBO app is not a compatible app that is available for download and installation on the TV from the LG Content Store (App Store). You can still stream it from a media streaming device that is connected to the TV. Hulu is a preloaded app on the TV and you can also add HBO to your Hulu base plan and stream HBO shows, hit movies, comedy specials and more. Once you add HBO to your Hulu subscription plan, you can stream HBO using the Hulu or HBO NOW app...^IFV
