I just got the TV and the legs are just a twist and lock? That's it? It doesn't seem very sturdy at all. It can sway on these TV feet. Am I missing something? null

The feet are just there as an option. Remember nothing should bump the TV anyway. Most TVs are intended to be mounted on the wall. If you are concerned still the make after market stands that attach to the back where wall mounting would go. I hope this helps.

Yes, you have to use them screws that came with the flatscreen to secure the legs to the device.
