Nits, or Candela per square meter (cd/m²), which are both units of measurement for brightness, are not listed for the LG 55" Class NanoCell 75UQA Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2022), Model # 55NANO75UQA. TV manufacturer's no longer list nits for TVs since the advent of HDR because brightness can change for HDR depending on the percentage of white square window content. When the screen is mostly white, brightness may increase, but this can also reduce the effective dynamic range for HDR content. Bright windows can cause brightness to flare up, while dark windows may lower brightness. Many HDR displays cannot maintain a linear output brightness response to input signal brightness changes, especially when the average area of the picture is bright. Thus, the brightness setting may need to be adjusted based on the content being displayed...^Ivan.
