“At the same time I bought my TV, my cable box had to be replaced. Now I'm having trouble with the sound matching up with the people talking on TV. Their mouths move a second or two before the sound comes out. Any ideas before calling the cable company?”

• If you have Verizon FIOS, there has been an ongoing problem with sound being out of sync for more than a month. Word is there is a firmware update that will be installed in mid-January that will solve that problem. For Verizon FIOS customers, it's not the set - but Verizon.
