• The brand doesn’t matter is all in the wiring I have a vizio with mine, it was pretty cool to find out my tv actually links with my surround bar and allows for control of the volume from my tv remote. Might be different on yours but should work either way.

• It has an optical in so as long as the Samsung bar has optical output your good

• Yes, I got one hooked up now. It was recommended at the store... I still have some trouble hearing, so use captions especially on films with accents.
