“Can you sit a soundbar in front of the tv + stand and still control the tv? Asking due to low sitting height of model.”

No, the metal stand is close to 18” long and slopes to the front for about 5”. If it sits on a desk it would work, but not on a console table like mine. The TV speakers are Harmon Kardon and 40 watts total, I had a BOSE sound bar which i now use in the bedroom, the speakers in the set are great, for me(when dogs bark on TV it sets my two cats into a frenzy, the sound of rain on TV also confuses the poor creatures, as it sounds like it is raining in the room)!
