“How often does the fan run? I just purchased this oven range. When baking cookies at 300, convection, the fan maybe ran once or twice. Is this normal? The convection feature does not seem to cook any differently than the standard bake feature. A disappointment. Seems I just have a standard double oven with a fan that runs occasionally- not a convection option. I understand there isn't a seperate heating element like a "true" convection- but wouldn't the fan at least run often?”

According to LG- the convection fan should only turn on when the heating element turns on. It cycles on and off. It does not circulate air constantly- or even at standard intervals. I asked why it does not constantly circulate the air as other manufacturers models do- and I received no response.
