Although it is not a common issue, there are rare instances when the self-cleaning function of an oven can fry the motherboard due to the extreme temperatures it generates. During the self-cleaning cycle, the oven reaches temperatures close to 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, which can stress and damage the motherboard's insulation and components. This can lead to overheating and potential failure of the motherboard.
