Hi Nate. The LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range with EasyClean, Model # LRE3194ST . must be installed and grounded on a branch circuit by a qualified technician in accordance with the National Electrical code ANSI/NFPA NO. 70 - latest edition. All wiring should conform to Local and NEC codes. This range requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system. If the wire in your conduit is copper, it must be #8-gauge AWG or #10-gauge AWG wiring. If it is aluminum, it must be #6-gauge or #8-gauge AWG wiring.The range has a KW Rating at 240V of 13.5 kW so you can use #8 AWG cable and a 40-amp breaker, or #6 cable and a 50-amp breaker. The NEC makes this allowance because the nameplate rating is based on the oven and burners all being on HIGH at the same time, which doesn’t happen very often.
