“So I’m wondering if the fan at the back that goes on automatically can be turned off or disabled in some way so that it does not turn on every time I turn a burner on? It’s not that loud but just another noise that I would rather not have.”

• I doubt it. Fans are absolutely critical to the safe operation of induction heating elements. They would certainly overheat without ventilation.

• No, the fan can not be disabled. It is normal for the convection fan to run while preheating during a regular bake cycle. The convection fan motor may run periodically during a regular bake cycle. ^Daphane
