“Can anyone explain the difference between this range and the more expensive LSE4617ST? (apart from the model number)”

• I think I see several differences. The more expensive 4617 includes a warming drawer with 3 temps and a handle (I presume the cheaper drawer is just radiant heat, only if the oven is used?), better racks, a meat probe, cleanser, stainless steel knobs vs aluminum, a hot surface indicator, a "charcoal + sheath" element (whatever that is), about 4 more amps of power.
