THIS RUBBER FRAME IS NO GOOD WHATSOEVER ..I JUST GOT THE STOVE ..AND EVERY TIME I USE ONE OF THE BURNERS THIS GOOD FOR NOTHING RUBBER EITHER IT MELT OR IT GET DAMAGED FROM THE HEAT RADIATION CAUSING A LOUSY SMELL ..IT IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED IN ANY SPECICICATION ..MUST RETURN THIS STOVE

It feels like a bead of silicone around the edge of the stove top and I don’t know what purpose it serves. As for the stove top itself, I use the ceramic top cleaner after every time I use it and it’s stayed perfectly clean.

It started deteriorating in first year. just after a year old, I had Bestbuy come out and the tech agreed. They ordered a replacement. the replacement was defective and lg keep sending bad replacements. After 4 months of best buy trying to get a good replaced, bsetbuy decided it was cosmetic and would not replace. I and a total care customer. the total care program is not worth the paper it is written on!!
