“Does this oven have a cleaning mode using high heat with a door locking mechanism?”

• Yes it does. It has both cleaning methods. It has easy clean where you can spray the inside with water and it heats for a short time at a lower heat and you wipe it out once the oven has cooled. Even though I stay on top of keeping my oven clean, I have not found this method to be very useful. It just does not get hot enough to clean the grease splatters. The second method is the true self clean that takes a few hours at high heat with the door locked tight. I wipe it out really well after it cools and the oven is back to new.
