This model does include a jingle for the timer and preheat indicator, which is designed to notify you when the preheating is complete or when the timer goes off. What bothered me enough to get a replacement for my stove, is that the oven temperature varied greatly from what was set. I'm looking forward to the new one. I've liked having an induction stove top.
