Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is no bottom heating element. All the heat comes from the back wall (or broiler above). This means that there really is no traditional bake mode, only convection. The fan will run the majority of the time, even in "bake" mode. I've had this oven for two months. Nothing cooks the same as before. I have had to modify every recipe through trial and error (including a lot of errors). A huge pain. I can't recommend this oven.
