“Can you get the surface area around the burners in black? I don't like the shiny stainless as I think it will show an excessive amount of dirt over a period of time.”

I totally agree that it would show an excessive amount of dirt. I just purchased this range, and upon installation, I realized the exact same thing. This is not an answer to your question, but more a "wish" for LG...please make a stove stop protector that goes around the gas burners. My 15 year old Amana range had these...not sure why LG wouldn't have them now!
