You should not try to light the Bake and the Broil burners on the LG 6,9 cu. ft. Gas Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection in Stainless Steel, Model # LDG4313ST during a power outage. The range has an electrical ignition system and cannot be used without power. However, in case of a power failure, you can light the gas surface burners on your range with a match. Surface burners in use when an electrical power failure occurs will continue to operate normally. Use extreme caution when lighting burners with a match. It can cause burns and other damage. ^CP

Yes, we used that method during the Texas Snowpocolypse for 7 days.

The book says not to use the range if the power is out.
