• The Upper and Lower ovens in the LG 6.9 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Double Oven Gas Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean® - Stainless Steel, Model # LDG4313ST vent through the vents just above the cooktop surface under the control panel for the oven in the rear of the oven. They provide the air inlet and outlet that are necessary for the range to operate properly with correct combustion. It is normal for them to get extremely hot during cooking and may cause burns. Avoid blocking the vents or placing plastics near the vent as heat may distort or melt the plastic. It is normal for steam to be visible when cooking foods with high moisture content...^IFV
