PFAS are not commonly found in range ovens, and neither the LG 6.9 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Double Oven Gas True Convection Smart Range with EasyClean® and Air Fry - Stainless Steel, Model # LDGL6924S, nor any of our LG Range Ovens contain PFAS. However, the Self Clean cycle in the range oven uses extremely hot temperatures to clean the oven cavity. While running the Self Clean cycle, you may notice smoking or an odor, which is normal, but the kitchen should be well ventilated to minimize the odors from cleaning. If you have pet birds, you will need move them to another well-ventilated room. The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the Self Clean cycle of any range.
