Hi there, Cheryl. Thank you for reaching out about your LG Gas Range (Model: LDGL6924S). We understand your situation and are happy to help answer your questions: Oven Racks & Self-Clean Cycle: For optimal performance and to preserve the finish of your oven racks, we recommend removing them from the oven before starting a self-cleaning cycle. The high temperatures during self-cleaning can cause the racks to warp or discolor over time. Dishwasher Safe Grates: Many LG ranges are designed with grates that can be cleaned easily, and in many cases, they are dishwasher safe. However, to ensure the best care for your appliance, please refer to your Owner’s Manual for the specific cleaning instructions for your model. Generally, washing them with warm soapy water using a soft cloth is also a great option. Burner Control Knobs: The burner control knobs feature a stainless steel appearance, which complements the overall design and ensures durability. Fingerprint Resistant Option: At this time, LG does not offer a specific fingerprint-resistant stainless steel option for this model. The current stainless steel finish is designed for easy cleaning, and with regular maintenance, you can keep it looking its best. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-ldgl6924s-gas-range#pdp_specs As a troubleshooting step, if you have further questions or need additional guidance on cleaning and maintenance, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport.
