“I've read in some reviews that the knobs for the burners turn too easily causing the burners to turn on unintentionally if bumped, sometimes releasing gas into the kitchen. Is this correct? Are the knobs able to be removed or locked for child safety?”

Range LDG4313ST does not have a Child Lock safety feature. The knobs can be removed. It has a Lockout feature. That automatically locks the oven door and prevents most oven controls from being turned on. It does not disable the timer, the interior oven light nor the knobs. ^Daphane
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We do not have this issue. The knobs are snug enough that it would be difficult to turn on the gas by accident. Plus, in order to turn the knobs on, you have to PUSH, then turn. The knobs can be easily removed though - you can slide them right of the post if you want to.
