In humid weather, excess water may cause the base pan in the LG 6,000 BTU 115-Volt Window Air Conditioner with Remote, Model # LW6015ER to overflow. To drain the water, you can remove the drain cap in the back of the air conditioner and secure the drain pipe that comes as an included accessory in the rear hole of the base pan. This air conditioner is also equipped with a slinger fan that has an outer ring that runs in the water that collects in the base pan if it gets deep. The condensate is then picked up by the fan and expelled through the condenser which makes the air conditioner more efficient. The air conditioner will also drain well if it is installed properly with a 1/4" backward tilt...^IFV
