“What is the distance between the two stands at the base Im concerned about the distance between the 2 stands the hold the TV up. My table is 58" wide and don't want this to be a problem with the dimensions”

You need a 40" surface. The outermost portion of the stands are approximately 39 1/2".

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The width of the tv is 57.5 inches and the stands are in the inside of that. So you should be fine. I recommend hanging this tv up if you can. I had mine installed by geek squad and they did a terrific job for a reasonable price. And the tv is awesome even the sound is great for a thin tv.
