It is actually 60hz and the same is true for the Samsung you mention. Refresh rate is true measure and Samsung and LG play with other terms to make it confusing like Tru-Motion. There are a few sites that show the conversions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is 120hz. All signals are produced at 60hz and then your tv upscales them to whatever the box says by creating fake frames to fill in the space. The hz is mearly the number of extra fake frames it creates to clean up fast moving images. 120hz = 60 real frames + 60 fake ones. Don't let this draw you away from this tv. When you don't have it side by side with another tv you cannot tell the difference at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure about the Samsung, but if you're asking about the LG 65UF6450 refresh rate, I'm going to go with 60hz. I definitely have to agree with another reviewer that the LG "TruMotion" terminology is a misnomer. I bought the LG 65UF6450 and replaced it within days with a Samsung that truly has a 120hz refresh rate. ($400 more.) No comparison. (Disclaimer: I didn't call LG and ask them; I'm just giving you my opinion.)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I read some negative reviews about the refresh rate as well before purchasing. After installing and watching this TV no problems with motion and the pictures gorgeous. I don't notice any blur, advertising states 120 real motion
