You can choose the brightness of the colors in the picture in the settings with the remote..hit the home button and then arrow up to the settings gear icon and click thru the picture displays till you find the one you like best.

There are also sites online that include recommended settings with certain TV reviews that you can make basic adjustments to the picture for the LG - 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black, Model # 55LH575A using a test pattern. Keep in mind that calibrations are done according to the room in which the TV is installed so it you are able to find recommended settings online or in forms, they might not necessarily work well in the environment in which your TV is installed in.The light and color in the room you’ve placed the TV makes a big difference.
