Is there any issues with image retention or "burn in"? null

There is no burn in period. Image retention is a short term issue where a static image that is left on for a long time will faintly ghost for a few minutes and then disappear. Watching normal video you will likely never see this. Even if you do it is not permanent like Burn in on a Plasma or CRT.

None so far, but we've only had it four weeks!

I have had no issues with IR. I do have the pixel shift option on. This TV also has a screen cleaning option that is suppose to clean the image on screen. Takes about an hour to run this.

Over the last 2 months I have not seen any image retention or burn in
