• The manufacturer recommends keeping it standing up, but I'm sure a lot of people pick up their TV and bring it home lying down in transit. I had to do that and my TV works just fine. It is packed with a lot of foam. Just dont lay anything on top of the box so the TV will not bend.

• I don't see any problem of laying it down. It is very secured inside the box. As long your truck bed is big enough to accommodate it. You should be fine, I had imagine.

• I was told by Best Buy employees that they could load it into my SUV but that they were not allowed to lay it down. I laid it down as did my son who bought the 77 inch. Our TVs are working fine.
