  • QuestionDoes the 65 in have the same exact picture as my 42 in. only bigger. On the old CRT tv's the smaller ones had a sharper picture or with OLEDS the same quality picture quality no matter the size.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer They are all 4K so technically smaller TVs will have more pixels per square inch but you won’t really notice that. The 55in and larger are brighter than the smaller versions so will actually have a better overall picture.

  • QuestionI had purchased this so far loving it. I previously had LG Oled TV from 2018. It was ruined by burn in on screen by playing Minecraft a lot. I’m scared to play Minecraft on this new TV! Is this TV is a burn in proof?

    Asked by Zing31.

    • Answer AS with any other OLED TV, regardless of brand or manufacturer, the LG 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # OLED65C5PUA, is susceptible to burn-in, which can occur if static images or logos are displayed continuously. To mitigate this risk, LG OLED TVs come with features like the Screen Saver, Clear Panel Noise, Screen Shift, and Logo Luminance Adjustment. These features help preserve image quality and reduce the risk of burn-in. OLED Image Retention or Burn-In: Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. However, with an LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention have been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen, but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified. It is rare for an average TV consumer to create an environment that could result in burn-in. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. So, it is possible to create image retention in almost any display if one really tries hard enough. And even if image retention does occur from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing). So, in short: Reasonable, responsible usage of an OLED TV, combined with powerful image preservation abilities should result in a seamless home entertainment experience...^Ivan.

  • QuestionDoes this TV have the ATSC 3.0 tuner for NextGen TV

    Asked by ScottF.

    • Answer LG was one of the very first companies to bring ATSC 3.0 tuners to its TVs back in 2020, and it's one of the first to drop it. • QuestionWhy are reviews allowed to contain false information? Two of the reviews state this TV no longer has Dolby Vision and gave the TV a decreased rating when this is not true. This TV no longer has DTS passthrough but it still has Dolby Vision.

    Asked by Sam.

    • Answer Thank you for pointing that out, Sam! Dolby Vision® is still supported on the 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # OLED65C5PUA and after removing DTS audio support in the past and reintroducing it with its 2023 models, LG is once again dropping DTS support from its 2025 TVs, including the LG G5 OLED TV. This means that these TVs no longer support the DTS:X format. For our 2023 and 2024 TVs, DTS support included both DTS:X (in DTS-HD MA) decoding for internal speakers and DTS passthrough via HDMI. However, there was no support for DTS:X IMAX Enhanced (DTS:X Profile 2), which prevented Disney+ from delivering DTS:X audio. With the removal of DTS audio support, LG's 2025 TVs will once again support only Dolby audio formats. However, Google recently demonstrated Eclipsa Audio running on an LG TV...^Ivan.
