You do not need to use a mobile phone to operate it. The TV is a VESA-compliant display with a 300 x 200 mm VESA Mount Pattern, so it can be mounted on your wall using any VESA-compliant wall mount, regardless of type, brand, or manufacturer that supports its VESA mount pattern. Best Buy carries a variety of different types of wall-mount brackets, so you will need to search their site to find one that best suits your needs. Unless advertised otherwise, the TV is new.
