“Is it worth it to upgrade from the 2017 model? I’d be interested if there was an increase in picture quality, or more settings for picture. Thanks. Joe”

I would recommend waiting for the 2019 model since the panel will be revamped next year. That being said, the 2018 models are a great improvement over last years. Not so much in the panel but motion handling and screen noise. I upgraded from the 2016 model which was a huge improvement.

The 2018 C8 OLED uses a different processor than the 2017 models. I just got 2018 LD OLED C8. I'd wait or consider something else. Picture is very hard to adjust, bright are VERY bright, darks are too dark to see. Will hurt eyes.
