The sound from the TV is good enough, but if you have built in speakers or surround sound, it makes it even better.

What soundbar to get? What is your budget? The Samsung HW-MS650 Soundbar is excellant for the price (was $450, on sale for $330). If you want true Atmos sound and can drop $1,500 into your sound bar then the Sony HT-ST5000 Soundbar is incredible. It is 7.1.2 Atmos. I have a house and a full, component-based 7.1.2 Atmos sound system (Denon amp, 9 Klipsch speakers and a Klipsch subwoofer), and that of course is the way to go if you want the theater level experience and sound. Of course, that costs WAY more than even the Sony sound bar.
